Upon arrival, a representative from Gorilla Quest Africa will meet you at the airport to assist with customs and immigration. Your driver/guide will transfer you to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. Visit the Genocide Memorial Centre, Presidential Palace Museum, and Nyamata Church, learning about the culture and history of Rwanda. After lunch, drive through the rolling hills to Ruhengeri, arriving at the hotel in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Start the day with an early breakfast before your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla tracking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. Spend a magical hour with the gorillas, observing their daily routines. In the afternoon, enjoy optional activities like a cultural performance or visiting the twin lakes.

Track the rare golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park and spend time with these energetic creatures. Optional activities include visiting Musanze Caves or Dian Fossey’s grave at the Karisoke Research Centre.

After breakfast, cross the border into Uganda and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

Embark on another gorilla tracking adventure, hiking through the dense rainforest to find these majestic creatures. Optional afternoon activities include the Batwa Trail, a village walk, or a visit to Bwindi Community Hospital.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s premier safari destinations with a variety of wildlife and over 600 bird species. Arrive at your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Enjoy a morning game drive to see lions and other wildlife before returning for breakfast. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, elephants, buffalo, and diverse bird species.

After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest National Park, home to 13 species of primates and 355 bird species. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge.

Track chimpanzees through Kibale’s forest trails in the morning. In the afternoon, explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a haven for birds and wildlife, supporting local tourism and community initiatives.

After breakfast, transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home, concluding your unforgettable 11-day jungle journey.
